About Chandra Hoffman

Chandra Hoffman writes novels for adults and young readers. Her debut novel, Chosen (HarperCollins, 2010), was translated into multiple languages. Her work has been shaped by an unconventional life that has included orphanage relief work in Romania, horse training and homeschooling in the Caribbean, and directing a U.S. adoption program. She teaches writing, founded the Summer Writing Retreat at Bryn Athyn College, and lives outside Philadelphia with her family, horses, big dogs, needy cats, and many chickens. The Tender is her fourth novel.
